Система организации хозяйства с целью производства товаров и услуг. Капитализм подразумевает существование частной собственности на средства производства. Принятие экономических решений в условиях капиталистической системы в высшей степени децентрализировано, а ресурсы распределяются через многочисленные рынки. Рынки регулируют взаимоотношения покупателей и продавцов, устанавливают равновесные цены и определяют, какое количество товаров и услуг будет произведено и реализовано. См.
